Ultrasonic axles inspection

Advanced UT Systems for hollow and solid axles quality control.

Main features

Automated ultrasonic testing system for the non-destructive testing of hollow and solid axles, with Phased Array and conventional probes.

The inspection system allows the customer to inspect, using the same machine both solid and hollow axles.

The user interface software automatically allows you to select the type of axle to be inspected.

The system also has two reference axles with artificial defects as part of the previous process of calibration and verification

For solid axles the MAIN program, through a sequence of start and verification on the program, will launch the positioning coordinates for both probes and loads the PAUT calibration parameters into the VEO+.

For hollow axles, the MAIN program will select the ROI and UT Parameters. There is a lance with the bore probe attached, and this lance system must be attached to the axle by the operator. The inspection will start, through a sequence of start and verification, using the program.
